Description

Week 4 Discussion

Introduction

As introduced, building relationships is a critical step for marketing managers. Regardless of the product or service, reputation and customer satisfaction become strategies to achieve the goals of building long-term customer relationships, success and ultimately sustainability. Companies need to understand how these relationships impact supply and demand and distribution strategies. Is there a connection?

For your discussion this week, read chapters 9 and 10.
Peter, J. P., & Donnelly, J. H. (2019). A preface to marketing management (15th Ed.). New York: McGraw-Hill/Irwin. ISBN-

13: 978-1260151619.

Watch the vides and read the articles to prepare.

Include ways to determine the value or impact of social media (or other virtual tools and resources) in developing strong, lasting customer connections. Be sure to include scholarly research in our posts.

Secondary Post Instructions
For responses, consider your classmates initial posts and answer the following: How does the virtual environment lead into distribution strategies. Is there long-term impact on supply and demand and how do companies create solutions if relationships weaken. Finally, compare alternatives in using different distribution channels.

Tips for Success
Remember to earn maximum points you must do more than the minimum. The minimum at the graduate level will earn an 80% score. Our discussions are the classroom, so it is important to have hearty discussions. You must include scholarly references to illustrate this next level of learning.
