Writing a letter to Edward Taylor

Description

Let’s make this one a little different. Pick one of the writers from this week either John Winthrop or Edward Taylor.  If you choose Winthrop, select a paragraph or two. If you choose Edward Taylor select one poem. Your selection should be something that you understand and can connect with on some level.

Write a letter to the author of your chosen selection explaining why you chose that selection. Make a connection between your understanding of the text and the author’s life or your own life or both if you can. 

Here’s an example of a letter: Letter to Edward Taylor with Argument. Your letter does not have to be as long as mine. Three hundred words will be fine.

Have some fun with this. Demonstrate that you know what you are talking about with the chosen selection.In other words show your reader that you did read the selection thoughtfully. These should be your own thoughts-not from Google.
