Please review Readings 11.1 through 11.5 in the attached pdf file related to financial control. You can use this as citation/reference information for the paper. Please answer the questions at the end of each section and include those in the paper. The response length to the questions for each reading section (Reading 11.1 through 11.5) should average at least one-half page to one full page double-spaced.

In addition to responding to these questions, please research a managerial or cost accounting topic. This can be any topic area covered in this course. I included them below:

Managerial Accounting and Cost Concepts and Analyzing Mixed Costs
Job-Order Costing
Process Costing
Cost-Volume-Profit Relationships

You should include, at a minimum, 2 additional outside sources/references to research your managerial or cost accounting related topic. Your final paper, including responses to questions from the Readings (minimum 3 total pages double-spaced) and your additional research of the managerial or cost accounting related topic (minimum 3 total pages double-spaced), should be a total of 6-8 pages double-spaced. At a minimum, your paper should include discussion regarding the description or definition of your topic, advantages or disadvantages of the approach, and why the concept is important. Some other items you may wish to discuss in your paper are: who were the early proponents of the concept, who should or should not use the approach, etc. Also, please include subheadings for these sections in your paper (include subheadings for 11.1, 11.2, etc. for the responses to readings section, and then appropriate subheadings for your topic area). You may also cover additional items in your paper.

The paper should be professional, double-spaced, grammatically correct, etc. Please use Times New Roman with 12 point font and 1 inch margins. You should include a cover page and a page of references/citations. I am flexible with the citation style you choose to use, however make sure you include in-text citations in the body of your paper along with a summary sheet of your references at the end of the paper.
