Select one leadership theory from the seven included for this week. Authentic leadership

Textbook – Leading Organizations: Perspective of a New era Third Edition Edited by Gill Robinson Hickman (2016) – Chapter 26 (Authentic leadership)

Using the reference list from the chapter, and your own research, identify at least two additional scholarly journal articles that focus on that leadership theory. Select articles from within the last seven years. You are encouraged to look for articles that relate to your industry or sector (nonprofit organizations).

After reviewing the chapters from Hickman (2016) and the four additional articles you select, write a paper of 3 pages that:

Summarizes the theory. This section will serve as your introduction and should not be longer than 1 page.
Discusses the development of theory, both in terms of the theory’s emergence, and what opportunities exist for greater understanding of this theory or its applications in future (1 page).
Discusses how this theory might be used to benefit organizations in the same industry or sector that you work in (or intend to work in). How do you see the theory could be applied or how could further research on this theory benefit organizations in the industry or sector (1 page)?
