create intelligence test about vehicles in essay format
Description
Instructions
Cattell, Guilford, Thurstone, Sternberg, and Gardner are all intelligence theorists and propose that intelligence is composed of several distinct aptitudes or abilities rather than a single, general one.
Find a relevant article in psych abstracts, psyc info, or behavioral science collection database and use it, along with background information in the powerpoint presentation, to write a three-page paper (1-inch margins, double-spacing, 12 point New Roman Times font) proposing your own intelligence test. You should assess more than the abilities required to succeed academically. In addition, you should describe in your paper the following:
a) provide a title for your test
b) assess more than one ability in your test
c) the rationale and components (i.e., distinct aptitudes or abilities) of the test (what abilities are you testing)
d) how would you standardize your test and determine reliability and validity
e) any similarities and differences to other intelligence tests (such as the Stanford Binet, the WAIS-R, WISC-III, or even other multiple intelligence tests)
