​This assignment provides an opportunity for students to examine a legal need for a specific client group. It may involve examining an existing statute or proposing content for a statute that will address the need. ( example: Childrens and families ) related to social issues/ social work.

​Use the following outline to structure your paper.
1. Describe the client population you are writing about. What are the demographic characteristics and/or life experiences that clients share.
2. Describe the client need that is met by the statute you are examining.
3. What statutes (municipal, state, or federal) address the need?
4. In what way does the stature address the client need you are examining? What procedures are created? What are the legal rights of the clients? What are the legal responsibilities of the involved agency or agencies?
5. Describe the strengths and weaknesses of the statute you examine.
6. What advocacy groups are involved the issue the statute addresses?
7. What changes in the statute do you suggest, if any?
8. If no statute addresses the client need, outline content for a proposed statute.
Your paper should be 8 pages ,top in addition to a cover page and a reference page.
APA 7th edition format is required.
