Impacts and Legacies of the Industrial Revolution

Description

Consider how the Industrial Revolution impacted or changed one thing in each of the three frames/themes: Networks, Communities, and Production and Distribution, i.e., the impacts in each of the three frames.  

Answer the questions for all three columns: 

What is one thing that changed in each frame/theme because of the historical event? 

How did it change?
What were its characteristics before and how did the historical event change it?

Did this change affect certain groups differently? e.g., race, ethnicity, gender identity, etc How and why?

Using at least two new sources answer the questions below: 

• Research how contemporary society–the people of who live today–remember, commemorate, and/or consider the one global historical event you are researching in the place where it happened and, if appropriate, outside of it.  
• Write in full sentences or summarize information, but write in your own words.   
• Take notes and add new sources to your draft bibliography.
