Description

For this assignment (the Journal Article Review), you will examine and analyze two peer-reviewed articles that will be applied to the paper in Assignment 3. This will help you to build a foundation for the Research Analysis. Each article should represent a different viewpoint about solving the problem you chose.
To complete this assignment successfully, it is recommended that you take the following steps:
• Choose a population of interest – Older population (60+)
• Identify a problem / challenge that the population experiences – (Loneliness and social isolation)
• By utilizing scholarly resources, examine two different methods of solving the problem.

Requirements of the Journal Article Review:

• APA style title page
• Introduction / Research Topic: What is the population you chose and why? What is a problem this population experiences? Provide research based statistics. Your thesis statement should discuss why this problem should be addressed.
• Evaluate the following for each article: What was the hypothesis? What are the main points of the article? How large was the population? What methods / instruments did the researchers utilize to conduct the study? What were the results?
• Conclude the Journal Article Review by discussing which method you think is better? Why do you think this method is better?
• APA style reference (references should be placed in alphabetical order)
