Questions:

A) Make a list of 7 to 10 important keywords or short phrases whose definitions you believe are essential for a deep understanding of the article. You do not have to know a precise definition of all the words, just a belief that you as the reader will need to know what the words mean. Pick one of the headings or subheadings in the outline and write a 3 to 7 sentence summarization of the main point of the section according to your reading of the section/subsection.

Choose one of the quotations, type it out, and provide a brief analysis of how the quotation adds to the section in which it is included. For example, in what ways does the quotation substantiate the main claim of the paragraph or section? What might be lost for the reader if this quotation had NOT been included? In what ways does the quotation illuminate the content of the article for you?
