You have been approached by a friend who is considering that once travel restrictions are lifted, they want to travel the world to write a food blog; an idea inspired by watching too many food TV programmes and YouTube clips during Covid-19 Lock-Down. They have come to you as they heard that one of your university papers covered Gig Work and the Digital Economy.

In 500-600 words discuss:
a) Why they should do this and why it is an exciting career choice (Advantages of Gig work)
b) What they should be aware of as potential issues (Disadvantages of Gig work)
c) What specialised skills, knowledge and personal traits should they have.

Question Two: Technology Acceptance and Use
At the beginning of the semester students were asked to set up and use Trello boards (a project management tool) for a group activity as part of a reflective assessment. A number of students resisted using Trello and gave various reasons.

• First: Use the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM in Lai, 2017) to discuss why students were resisted using Trello (You can use your own experiences with Trello).

• Second: Applying this to a business setting. What recommendations would you make to a manager to reduce employee resistance when implementing a project management tool like Trello?

The use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) has become a technology and business trend with many and varied applications where Ai is being applied. However, the use of Ai is not without issues, particularly ethical issues.
