SPSS Analysis Practice 2

Description

This practice set is to be completed individually and will allow you to practice running and interpreting t-test and ANOVA analyses. You will need both the Practice SPSS Data file and the Limited OSHPD Utilization File to complete the analyses. Download the Assignment document, copy the results tables into the Word document and type the interpretations below the tables.

Here are the variables (bolded) that you will need for the 2 questions for SPSS Analysis Practice 2.

Question 1: Is there a difference in the total patient days (DAY_TOT) between nonprofit and investor hospitals (TYPE_CNTRL)?

Question 2: Is there a difference in total charges (NET_TOT) among hospitals with 185 and fewer beds, 186 to 325 beds, and more than 325 beds (LIC_BEDS)?

***HINT: LIC_BEDS is a continuous variable that you will need to re-code into a categorical variable with 3 categories.
