Unit 7 discussion – 250-300 words

Description

In this lesson, we covered the listening process and factors that help or hinder that process. Review those factors if you need to before you begin this assignment and discussion.

Task

In a minimum of 250 – 300 words, please:

1. Keep a record of your listening habits for two (2) days.
2. After the second day, please summarize your listening experiences by identifying some specific examples of both good and bad listening habits you recognized.
3. Review and discuss what either helped or hindered the communication process. Use content from the listening unit to make your points. Be sure and refer to anything that you said or did to help or hinder the communication process. Use the vocabulary of listening from the readings.
4. Be sure to submit your document of record keeping that includes notes of when you felt you listened your best, moments you were distracted, and moments that you were able to pivot for a better listening experience. Use the vocabulary of listening from the readings.
