Description
You MUST be EXPERT in matlab/simulink and have access for MATLAB – Arduino Leonardo
IT WILL BE EASIER IF YOU HAVE A KIT
The instruction:
1. Turn in a 1 page description of a new simulink model that was created by yourself ( using matab – Arduino Leonardo)
The model can be a one of or a combination of the following: (choose the easiest for you)
a. Control the heater and filtering the data for better performance
b. Use a model of the 1st order heater system to create a controller that
accommodates for the time lag
c. Develop a model on a different microprocessor that you own
d. Add additional sensors to the microprocessor such as ultrasonic sensors
e. Tune the PID gains for motor position control and show the system
working with P control, PD control and PID control
f. Step response for motor position control. Determine a good set of gains
for no overshoot and a fast response
g. Filter the velocity data, and then control the velocity of the motor
h. Create a high end position control system for a motor that moves at a
frequency of 2Hz or faster
2. Explain each subsection
3. Turn in a short video using zoom or capture it on a phone (less than 5 minutes)
