Your proposal should provide a background, preferably grounded in previous literature, and an expansion of the literature into new territory, with as much specificity as possible. I will judge your work based on the quality of your background and the feasibility of your expansion.

The essay should be about 3,500 words in length. All writing will be judged for accuracy, clarity of writing, and must meet the length standard. I want you to be creative and go where the research takes you, so please demonstrate originality in your assignments. Of course, provide citations for the other works cited within your project.
