Communications Question

Description

Conduct an interview with a leader in your field. The write up of this interview should discuss what you talked about with the leader you selected, and what you gained from this interview. If you need help locating someone to interview, or want to workshop ideas on interview questions, please let Professor Bradley know. It is a helpful idea to write out interview questions prior to conducting the interview.

Portfolio: a culmination of work you have done this semester. You will develop a “leadership portfolio”. You can answer each of the questions through a typical reflection paper OR you may film a response to the questions or create a PowerPoint presentation.

• What qualities do you desire to emulate as a future leader?
• What do you think defines a “good leader.”
• What is your leadership style and how does that align or not align with typical leadership in your respective field?
• Develop a leadership philosophy that discusses both the qualities you desire to emulate as a future leader and your leadership style.
