This week’s reflections will focus on a short podcast episode and your readings. NOTE: I am attaching the transcript of the podcast below in case you can’t access it.

2) Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies are present in varying degrees across organizations, including in the workplace and schools. Choose one or two DEI policies at LMU and use our readings for this week and the podcast to evaluate them. What are things that work? What are things that don’t work? Specifically, what are some of the challenges and opportunities that these policies pose? How can LMU improve upon them?

In writing your reflections, be sure to link your thoughts to the readings. You may wish to bring up your own experiences, discuss lingering questions, unresolved controversies, interesting implications, contradictions, or claims that you do not believe.
