1) Describe how you might define Eudaimonia from your own perspective.
• What are some different conceptions of happiness?
• What is happiness to you and why?

2) Describe Aristotle’s virtue theory.
• What are the four foundational virtues and what does it mean for them to be foundational virtues?
• List how each of these four virtues might apply to Islamic ethics

3) What are the types of states described in Aristotle’s political theory? When do you believe each form of state is appropriate or not appropriate? Aristotle did not believe in democracy. Do you agree? What is your ideal state in today’s world?
