Watch the feature film “Fatal Attraction” with Glenn Close and Michael Douglas.

Answer the following questions in 2.5 – 3 pages double spaced. Please do not include the prompt questions.

1. What symptoms do you notice in the main character? Give at least three specific examples from scenes in the movie.

2. Her symptoms might fit partial criteria for several personality disorders. One is primary. Which one? Describe the diagnostic criteria you see in her. Are there symptoms for the diagnosis you do not see in her?

3. Was she treated? What kind of treatment is most effective for this diagnosis and what could she expect if she were treated?

4. What is her prognosis? Why?
