Stakeholder Analysis

Course: Intro to US health care sector
This week you will be completing a stakeholder analysis. Articles regarding a stakeholder analysis are provided within our online classroom. Note: an Excel Stakeholder Table has already been created for your use(see attachment) in completion of this assignment.
Targets: (please make sure each target is covered)
1. Assess the roles of various health care stakeholders to ensure that health care programs meet the needs of the recipients and comply with regulatory and payor requirements.
2. Analyze the benefits of integration within the health care system
All assignments must target the content application while using two variables:
1. My job choice(Quality and Improvement Manager)and
2. the case assigned by the faulty(Planning and Implementation during COVID-19: Preparations and Execution at a Rural Acute Care Hospital)
Your Supervising Manager called a meeting early Monday morning to discuss the tasks you will need to accomplish in this week. They were very complimentary about the efficiency of your performance and the quality of the submitted Memo. However, further investigation is necessary to make sure all areas of the managerial situation were covered accordingly.
You are asked to conduct research and to compile the information about the HC-specific stakeholders related to this situation using the table provided (see below). Make sure to choose the stakeholders that will be involved in your area of expertise (as per your job description – Research job description of a Quality and Improvement Manager).

For example,
-the Clinical coordinator may choose the CDC (Center for the Disease Control) as a stakeholder due to the mandatory reporting and follow up on the guidelines.
-CDC affiliated stakeholder would be a local health department that reacts to the situation based on CDC provided preparatory guidance. At the same time, the local health department would be a direct stakeholder for the Clinical Coordinator because its representatives will be directly involved in guiding potential public health issues at the site.
**All information should be presented in a table format. You can use bullet points, subcategories, and other white space organizational components.
The briefing statement from week 2 and the stakeholder analysis from week 4 are the base for your week 5 group assignment- the linkage map.
Make sure to provide a minimum of four credible sources from the UMGC library(https://libguides.umgc.edu/az.php) , the stakeholder home website, and the information pertaining to two discussed stakeholders-see discussion below (one chosen direct and one affiliated to the direct stakeholder). APA format is required for the citation and references.

“The stakeholders of the preparation for the COVID-19 measures implementation preparation will majorly include the individuals who are more likely to be affected by the project or may be interested in the project. The healthcare providers manager and their co-workers are the program’s primary project and performance managers(American Hospital Association). All the healthcare providers need to be fully informed and trained to handle COVID-19 cases, as per the recommended procedures by the Ministry of Health authorities (American Hospital Association). The Personal Protective Equipment providers are significant stakeholders who need to be highly cooperative and work closely with the logistics company to ensure that the PPES are delivered in time. The local Ministry of Health officers are the compliance, and their affiliate stakeholders are the local authorities who monitor the hospitals(“Stakeholder Engagement Plan DRAFT V2”). Cooperation with the community leaders who are the main risk and safety managers is mandatory to ensure directives and possible cases are communicated on time. The community leaders are significant stakeholders whose affiliate stakeholders are the members of the given community (“Stakeholder Engagement Plan DRAFT V2”). These community leaders need to be cooperative and in a position to carry out effective mass communication. To make the right choices of stakeholders, the main questions will be; their contribution to the project and their competence level” .
