The individualized world view
After reading the course materials and reviewing the PowerPoint presentation related to your readings,
construct a personal Individualized Worldview (IWV) paper that will address the following areas.
Part 1 – Primary Identity & Six Key Areas in Identity – 75 points
Your Primary Indigenous/Ethnic/Racial Identity and any additional Indigenous, Ethnic, and/or Racial identities you consider important in relation to your self-identity and the development of your worldview (30 points).
In addition, select five (5) other areas highlighted in the IWV that play a key role in relation to your identity and/or view of the world (10 points).
 For each of the six (6) areas, include a heading (for example: Spirituality/Religion or Gender) and write a minimum of one (1) page for the area selected (35 points).
 For each area selected, you must state why you have chosen this area as an important aspect of your identity. You may write more than one (1) page; however, one (1) page is the required minimum for each area.
This section discussing the six (6) areas is a required six (6) to eight (8) pages 10maximum in length.
Part 2 – Impact/Understanding of Worldview Differences on Clients/Conclusion – 35 points  In this part, you must clearly state how you believe this assignment impacts your
capacity to understand the potential influence of worldview differences on client
behavior, beliefs, attitudes, and values. (25 points)  Conclusion (10 points)
This section is a required two (2) pages.
Part 3 – Citations and Reference Page/ Grammar – 15 points
Your paper must be properly formatted in 2020 APA-style 7th edition (10 points)
 It must be typed, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins on all four (4) sides, with page numbers
 The fonts should be 12 pt using Calibri or Times New Roman
 AN ABSTRACT PAGE IS NOT REQUIRED FOR THIS PAPER Your paper must include:
 A title page
 The text of this paper – the required length is eight (8) pages minimum to ten (10) pages

 Proper APA-style in-text citations, with a proper APA-style reference page
Grammar – spelling, word usage, and sentence structure – is important (5 points)
