The “Broken Windows” theory is credited with the recent reduction in crime rates in NYC. Read the Article under Week # 1 concerning the ‘Broken Windows’ theory and write an essay in which you discuss:

a. Why you believe crime rates have dropped in large urban cities over the past ten years?

b. Will the decrease in the number of Stop, Question and Frisks throughout the city result in criminals not being afraid to carry guns? Has that resulted in a rise in police involved shootings?
