Mini Rhetorical Analysis

After watching Love Letters to Strangers (Links to an external site.), answer these questions:
1. Summarize the talk, and answer: what is the purpose? Meaning, what is Brencher’s overarching purpose for doing this talk?
2. Who might be a potential audience? In other words, who might she be trying to reach?
3. Give an example of where Brencher uses the rhetorical appeals to persuade. Find a moment where pathos, ethos, and logos are used… or not used. To help get you started, consider the lack of logos in this talk, but heavy use of pathos. Could Brencher’s purpose have been more effective if she elaborated on her company and used reason/logic to show that letter writing works?
4. Lastly, consider if her overall purpose/message is effective or ineffective. Does Brencher use the appeals to effectively persuade her audience?
